Video Prep Work

Music Video Project:

1) Choose a song with a similar theme to: At times the cost of fortune and fame is too high and ends up hurting those we love the most.

2) Write out a paragraph explaining the relevance to the theme, using text evidence from the song.

3) Create a story-line for the music video that symbolically represents the theme and song. (remember to use the school appropriate version) This must be written down and approved. Use the plot diagram to chart out how your story-line will go. This must include characters and events of the story, as well as symbolism/ motif.

4) Finally, before filming begins, you must create a storyboard to help organize your filming experience. This is a visual representation of how your movie will go. You need to establish scenes, time of day to shoot the video, and location. You will also use this time to finalize wardrobe and details of the shot.

All of this must be neatly written or typed and approved before you can begin filming.
