Narrative Poem

10^th Grade Narrative Poetry Assignment

Using one of the images from the slideshow from the last class, write a narrative poem. (A poem that tells a story)

It must be 36 lines (6 stanzas of 6 lines each)

You will need to use several poetic/literary devices including:

            -rhyme (internal or external)

            - metaphor

            - simile

            - alliteration

            -imagery

            - personification

The poem is due Wednesday. Bring your computer if you have one, for part II of the assignment.
